A couple of weeks ago, an article I read reminded me of a term sociologists call "third places" - community gathering spaces where connection (in various, accessible ways) is the goal. Libraries are great examples. Home + "work" are our first two spaces, but after recent global events, our societal boundaries have shifted and blurred - especially for those of us in caregiving roles.
